JAMAN SOUTH MUNICIPAL ON FIRE

A 42-year old native of Japekrom and a father of five in the Jaman South District of the Brong Ahafo Region, Wofa Sina Atta, has been killed by gunmen believed to be from Drobo, a rival community. The deceased, who is well-known as the Mbrantehene (Youth Leader) of Japekrom, was among those leading the townsfolk including chiefs, as part of activities marking their Munufie Festival when the shooting took place on Wednesday afternoon. About fifteen other natives of the town have also been injured in what appears to be an attack by snipers who were hiding in a storey-building, believed to be the Palace of the Drobo Chief, according to Police in the region. Japekrom and Drobo, both twin towns, are said to have a long history of rivalry over land. Patapaa’s Over-Size Trouser Is Big Enough To Sew 11 School Uniforms For The Needy Children – Kumchacha Mocks

Controversial Prophet, Kumchacha has revealed that the recent trouser wore by Patapaa to the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) can sew more than 11 school uniforms. According to the head pastor of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, management of the ‘one corner’ artiste did Patapaa a disservice for dressing the musician with a trouser which can equally be eleven (11) uniforms for the needy children struggling to get uniforms. He has therefore described managers of controversial musician Patapaa wicked and cruel for dressing the musician like a comedian. Tension Looms At Tainso As Police ‘Brutalize’ Residents

The Chief of Tainso, a suburb of Nsawkaw in the Tain District of the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Yaw Bediako II has charged police to demonstrate high level of professionalism in dealing with situations. According to him, he is much disappointed in the indiscipline act and behavior put up by the police in his community. The police patrol team from the Tain District Command last Friday, 6th April 2018 heavily descended on the people of Tainso and brutalized them for allegedly constructing unlawful speed humps. Speaking to Arkfm’s Akroma Deefuor the Chief of Tainso, Nana Yaw Bediako II noted that, the women were only embarking on safeguarding operations to save lives from frequent knock down of persons by vehicles in the community. He revealed that seven persons have been knocked down in the community between 2017 and 2018.
